Since Last Wednesday!!!

I so cannot keep up with this Blog Page. Last Wednesday Noah and I hung out with Great-Granny Luc. It is always such a treat to watch her with Noah.
On Thursday Noah had another doctors appointment for his helmet fitting. He is doing so great with it. Kourtney said last week his little skull had moved to 5 mm. It's just rounding out so nicely! We are so excited about all of this, everything is moving so quickly to what we had been told. Noah may not even have to wear the helmet as long as we thought. Kourtney had first told us the first of August and now we are told definitely until the end of June.
Friday, we went to help Nana buy groceries for a wedding shower she and I helped in hosting on Saturday. So, now you know what we did all day Saturday. The shower was very simple and elegant. The bride is using Chocolate and Tiffany Blue as her colors and they are really pretty together. Saturday night Noah hung out with Papaw G, Aunt Jenn and Uncle Johan, while I went to the Urgent Care in Hickory. Things are working out fine now.
(For those of you who don't know Jason works all the time to keep up Noah and myself.)
Sunday Noah and I took a rest from all of the hairy-carrie of last week. On Monday we played catch-up from the week before to get everything back in order. We were supposed to be going to have Noah's photographs taken today but our photographer canceled due to family illness. So we rescheduled for next Tuesday. Next week is going to be pretty full once again. I hope that I can find time to write again before then.
We would also like to tell Jason's Grandpa Harkey Happy Birthday. We went to visit with him and Grandma Queeta last night. I enjoy them so much and they are so great with Noah. Papaw Charles only has two more weeks of kemo and he's done, so please keep him in your prayers.
Well Noah and I are off again to visit with Great-Granny Luc and to run some errands for dad talk to you soon.(I hope!)

Happy Mother's Day to Our Mothers

This week has been a very special week for me. I have had time to think about a lot of things. This being my first Mother's Day, and all. Mom had sent me several things via the net this past week that are of the most darling things, sayings, photos, etc. I just wanted to share a few photos of our family as we have grown from birth until just a couple of months ago.
I would like to say a special thanks to our mothers, if it had not been for them we would not have what we have today. Jason and I are very blessed to have Noah, he would have not been possible without the two of you (and some help). Jeremiah 1:5 has always been one of my favorite verses and I think it holds true. God has a special plan for us all. I know that He knew about Jason and I, just as the two of you prayed for us, we prayed for Noah.
Now as a mother, I am not sure what I did in my growing years to deserve what I have today, but I am very greatful for it all. Mom used to tell me I would never understand until I was a parent myself, sofar I am only 6 months into this wonderful adventure and I can't wait to see what plan God has for Noah.
Thank you and we wish you a wonderful week.
Love ,
The Cranfords

Good Morning to All!

Noah had his 6 month check-up today. Two shots, 20 lbs and 3 ounces, 27 inches long, and a very good report later we are doing great! Dr. Milroy says not too much longer we should have some "TEETH"!!! Grandmother had a Dr.'s visit yesterday about her hip. It has not been doing well for weeks now but the Dr. has prescribed her to 3 weeks of physical therapy. Tomorrow is her first visit with Aunt Lynda. Jason's Grandpa has been undergoing kemo treatments for the last 2 months and has about 2 more months to go. I think everyone here is pretty much o.k. besides these few. Everyone else seems to be on vacation. Roger and Kathy are "fun'n in the sun" at Myrtle Beach and Aunt Jenn and Uncle Johan are at Daytona. So as Noah and I hang out around here... we hope you all are having a great week.

Trying to catch up with myself

Sorry it has been so long since I have updated everyone. As you can see this is the only time I have to myself. Thank you for being patient, we have just had a lot going on here lately. I hope you are all doing well.

Noah has had Doctor appointment one after the other and Jason is going back to school. I am still staying at home, cleaning a few houses here and there, and keeping up with grandma Lucille. She is such a trip. We hope to get her a Doctor's appointment for tomorrow because she is having problems with her hip. So we are staying fairly busy around here.

After church today Mom and Dad had a hand bell recital so Noah, Jason and myself went to listen. It was absolutely wonderful. They are such a pair. They are so great for each other. As Noah will one day say, Mimi and Papaw are at the beach for a week of R and R. (Lucky them!)

I hope you all have a wonderful week and I hope to keep you all updated a little better. Take care of yourselves.

The Month of April!

Noah has been seeing an certified orthotist. As we have been going to his well-check appointments I have asked and asked about the shape of his head. (For those of you who are not aware of this... when Noah was delivered, I had to have an emergency C-section because he was turned in the birth canal which caused the right side of his head to be flattened.) There wasn't anyone they could refer us to until two months ago. I came home researched several things, changed Doctors, and was referred to another place and we are much better now. However, Noah is now wearing an orthotic for "cranial molding". We hope he will only have to wear it for two more months.

On a lighter note... Jason and I had our two year anniversary on April 22nd !!

Lucy McLean is here!!!

Lucy McLean was born to Uncle Ryan and Aunt Erin on Easter Sunday, March 23rd.

Christening of Noah Cranford

On Sunday, February 24th at 3:00 pm, we held Noah's Christening. All the family was invited and after the short service we had cookies and punch. Michelle Sain made cookies of little crosses that had Noah's name on them, and Susan Beaver made her special family punch. Nana Goins made Noah's Christening gown for him to wear. It had a blue underlining which has all of his birth information on it. The outer later has a handkerchief inset, from Spain (I think) with a "C" on it.

Uncle Ryan, Aunt Erin and Uncle Jeremy came to my Christening. We were waiting on my cousin to get here. She was only weeks away at this point.

This is Pastor John, with Mom and Dad, Nana and Papaw G., and Mimi and Papaw C. That would be me in my Christening gown.
